Design Thinking process
Persona
I made a persona to help me gain a greater understanding of the user needs and values. Then I wanted to big deeper into the users journey to help me understand and emphasise with the user. I did this through a customer journey map.
Information Architecture
The first image display the top menu and the second image displays the footer menu.
Branding
After looking through some competitors, I decided to go for earthy green tones. I wanted the brand to be minimalistic to customers. It was key to the customers the brand was all about sustainable clothing. These colours give the website an approachable, recyclable feel whilst showcasing a high quality, sustainable, customer-focus eCommerce store. The imagery through the website was selected to display a sense of friendliness whilst highlighting the sustainable clothing range.
Grid System
I used a 10 pixel grid system whilst designing the homepage mockups to ensure all elements were aligned precisely.
