UX/UI Product designer

I design the interface. Then I paint the story.

I’m Bram, a UX/UI Product designer who spends his weekdays simplifying complex B2B software and the rest of his time as a fine artist. Seven years in product design, a lifetime with a brush in hand.

Making complex B2B products feel obvious

I work on the kind of software that gets used eight hours a day, which means clarity matters more than cleverness. Most recently at Kneat, I worked on pharmaceutical validation software for B2B.

Read only & Collection feature

This project focused on designing a Read Only and Collection feature within a pharma SaaS platform. Users needed a way to view and collect validation data without risking accidental edits or breaking compliance.

Custom Reports Feature

This project focused on redesigning the existing Reports experience and the workflow for creating custom reports. As the platform evolved, customers needed a more intuitive and efficient way to access reporting features related to documents, traceability, and issues.

AI Support Chatbot

This project focused on designing KneatBot, an in-app AI chatbot for Kneat. As the platform grew, users needed a faster, more intuitive way to find answers about features and navigation without leaving the app to search separate support documentation.

My Design Journey Started on Canvas

I started painting from an early age, developing strong skills in observation, research, and visual communication. These were further refined at Stillorgan College and later at NCAD, where I learned the importance of research, experimentation, and idea development before execution. I was working in Adobe Photoshop long before I opened Figma. For my final degree show, I designed interiors digitally before translating them into large-scale paintings over 220cm wide. I still paint today, and the same creative thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail continue to influence how I design products and experiences.

 About me

The Artist Behind the Interface

I’m a UX/UI product designer with Seven years of experience across SaaS, ecommerce, and web platforms, translating complex requirements into interfaces people don’t have to think about. At Kneat, I’ve worked closely with product managers and engineers in agile environments, leading design from early discovery through to delivery and cutting down on development rework. Before that, I trained as a fine artist at NCAD, then completed an MSc in Creative Digital Media & UX at TU Dublin. Both disciplines use the same instinct: notice what’s actually in front of you, then decide what matters enough to keep. Outside of both, I’m usually painting, cycling, hiking, or finding any excuse to be outdoors.

"He is a trusted employee. He is always willing to do extra work if needed."

Got a product to design, or a piece you'd like commissioned?

I take on UX projects, freelance web work, and the occasional fine art commission. Based in Dublin, happy to work remotely too.
